Tip #6 to avoid bullying: Spend time with friends:
Having friends feels good as it gives you allies and a support system. Being a good friend enriches your life even more. Having friends and being a good friend also helps you to NOT become a target for a potential bully.
Making Friends With Kids From Other Schools:
I used to teach at a middle school that had 6 feeder schools: 3 were K-6 and 3 were K-5. The newly entered sixth-and seventh-graders found it challenging to meet so many news kids. This story addresses the best way to expand your network of friends.
Another Bully Buster Song on YouTube:
A song aimed to let bullies know it is NOT okay to bully, teach witnesses what to do should they see a bully bullying, and tricks that victims should utilize to help them become bully free. (This song is sung to the tune of Sipping Cider Through A Straw that I learned at Camp Sky Wa Mo, a Girl Scouts camp, back when I was a girl.)
